What do we charge? We work on an hourly basis with affordable rates of about what you would pay a staff member (minus benefits), but we work only as needed. If we do no work for you in a month, you receive no invoice for that month. We ask for NO ROYALTIES, no retainers, no penalties for early termination, no benefits, and no fixed term contracts. Why pay a design firm royalties on your idea? All work is done on a 1099 subcontracting (non-employee) basis. When was the last time you worked with someone who could conceive the system, code the software, design the hardware, lay out the circuit boards, build the prototypes, tune the antenna, and train field techs, too? Surprises in R&D are usually unpleasant, so we work to eliminate them with a combination of quality, attention to detail, and common sense.
